With its powerful 2000 lumens, the Eyebeam casts a brilliant light, illuminating the path in front of you for greater visibility. In addition to helping your visibility, the light will also help others to see you and your cane, improving your safety.
Adjustable Light
The Eyebeam’s light can be changed to best suit your needs and preferences. The adjustable lens allows you to choose the spread of light whilst the four modes, full brightness, half-brightness, flash and SOS, can be selected for different effects and to extend battery life.
Secure Fit, Easy Charging
The Eyebeam uses an adjustable clamp to fit 11mm-16mm canes and has a safety lanyard to attach to the cane handle, ensuring a secure fit. The rechargeable battery runs for approximately 5 hours on full brightness and up to 10 hours on half brightness, and takes 3 hours to charge when using a suitable charger.

Our story
Like many of our products, the Eyebeam was developed from a customer’s need. While talking with Jake during his visit to Seeing Solutions in Nottingham, he told us that he wanted a light for his cane. He explained that he spends a lot of time walking, but as a cane user, didn’t always feel safe walking in the dark. He felt a light would help him to see and to be seen by others.
After some research, we couldn’t find anything that was bright enough to meet his needs, and so we decided to develop something suitable. Developing products for and with our customers is really important to us, and something we really enjoy.
Jake helped us to test different versions of the EyeBeam and he is very happy with the product that we are now supplying more widely.
Since launching the EyeBeam, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many customers telling us they wouldn’t be without it. Whilst it is primarily used by people with low vision, we have had some people with no vision tell us that the flashing mode has helped them to be seen more easily when navigating crowds.
